Choosing your message
Most people pick a name, an anniversary date, or a single word that carries weight for them — breathe, enough, a child's initials, the date everything changed. Shorter messages sit better: up to about ten or twelve characters keeps the pattern readable and the bracelet comfortable. Longer is possible, but message us first and we'll tell you honestly how it will look before you order.
Every bracelet ships with a small card showing the Morse alphabet and your message decoded, so it can be read back years later.
Materials
- Beads: AG 925 sterling silver, 24kt gold plated over 925 silver, 18kt rose gold, or black metallic rhodium — your choice.
- Nickel free throughout, which matters if silver-plated jewellery has irritated your skin before.
- Cord: thin, strong nylon — water resistant and made to be left on rather than taken off each night.
- Spacers: Japanese glass seed beads between the code, in the thread colour you select.
Sizing
One size, adjustable. A sliding closure bead lets the bracelet open and tighten to fit up to roughly 28 cm (11 in), so it works on most wrists without you needing a measurement. That's deliberate — it means you can buy this as a gift without asking the awkward question first.
Care
Sterling silver darkens over time; a soft polishing cloth brings it back. The cord handles handwashing and rain without trouble, though we'd keep it out of chlorine and salt water. If a cord ever wears through, contact us — we can usually restring it.
